I admit, I'm spoiled! My husband is cooking himself and he simply loves to make a mess out of my kitchen, but it tastes great, so fair enough. It's been a blessing to be married to Paul Bocuse, but it also has significant drawbacks: you will be picky, especially when you taste the food in posh restaurants: overviewable portions which do not necessarily taste better than the food at home. My recent comment: "...but my husband cooks better than that" wasn't really helpful either.
The service staff is young, witty, very well trained and here and there a body-artwork of a tattoo. Even our waiter cares about our well-being, very charming - But wait! "Waiter sounds so old-fashioned, what are you really called? "Jan!" our waiter replied with a smile. He reminds me a bit of Smudo of the 'Fanta 4', which is a German Hip-Hop-Band. Besides the fact that Smudo probably wouldn't have such profound knowledge of burrata and which sauce fits nicely with the steak...
The steak ... yes, it deserves just one extra line: SUPERCALIFRAGELISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!
'Delicate' and 'buttery' are just words and are a massive understatement. All along the evening one can taste the bravorously handcrafted specialities coming out of that kitchen. And when Sina can't stop sighing "oh how delicious!" her husband does have a serious competitor!
Our smart waiter Jan-Smudo did have a great hint for us: From time to time live-band play at the 'Bullerei' which means you can't step from one foot on the other. But seriously, you'll never encounter such a terrific mix of culinary delights and jump rocking flair!
